Our friend Michael, also known as ""FilmakerMike"on YouTube, just came out with a fresh Video that is really a "Toy Review" on a few brand-new BATMAN Action Figures he just found. The cool bat-toys include: BATMAN LEGACY EDITION 2-PACK ( Prototype Batman & Lt. Jim Gordon ), BATMAN ARKHAM CITY ( Batman & Two-Face ), Walmart's LEGACY EDITION FIGURES ( Batman & The Joker ), plus DC UNIVERSE JOKER & HARLEY, The "Mad Love" Set. Just a quick post to share a few bits of BATMAN ARKHAM CITY Video Game news. First, in the UK, you'll be able to find this new XBOX 360 Magazine with The Joker on the cover. Then, here's another beautiful photo of the BATMAN ARKHAM CITY Billboard that was seen at this year's 2011 San Diego Comic Con.
Also, we have news on some brand-new "Foreign Exclusives".
We have already been hearing about all the Foreign "Collectors Editions" with different Batman SKINS. Now there's news of EXCLUSIVE STEELBOOK Editions in other countries. The 1st two to surface ( and there will be many more probably, ha! ) is the UK Store SHOPTO & the Australian Video Game Store EB GAMES. For the UK edition they will have Two-Face on the back cover. Then, the Aussies will have the Joker ( I like the Joker one better ). It looks like you also get a cool 1970's Batman Skin plus a few other bonuses in each one. But, for the price, so far I'm thinking the "Collector Edition" would be better because you get the Batman Statue. These just have a "steelbook" case. I don't know, it's really too early to tell. I think we all need to see the final releases on all this stuff. Please stay tuned to the Bat-Blog.Com for more future news. Also, just a friendly warning. If you do buy any of the "Foreign" stuff, Please be sure to ask the retailer if these discs will work on "American" Game Consoles.

Now, the 1st one is pretty simple, it's just a really nice sharp color photo of the most beautiful car in the entire world, George Barris' 1966 BATMAN TV Show Batmobile! Make this your personal wallpaper & I guarantee you will drool for days. Then, next-up, is this unusual image of Batman and Robin fighting Two-Face. I just thought it was a cool graphic because it's from the Golden Age of Comic Books, nice! Remember, please be sure to share these backgrounds with all your friends. Here's an interesting Fan-Made BATMAN CGI Animation Video I found on YouTube from a user named "MarvelZombie2099" and it's his personal homage to Gotham City. He created some really nice Batman and Robin 3-D models and later decided to make an animation starring the Dynamic Duo. His goal was to create a Silver Age Batman story that focused on crime fighting and action without the modern Dark Knight angst. The characters look pretty good & I totally love the Batmobile car! As usual, with Batman, the Villains steal the show!

OK, I know that coverage on THE DARK KNIGHT Batman movie is sort of "old news" now but there are still a ton of people who are HUGE Fans of this film. I know that, personally, I have a kind of "love & hate" feeling about it. I love the movie because it's totally great & was a lot of fun. On the other hand, as a "Batman News Reporter", I had to cover the thing night & day for many months before it even came out. I sort of got totally burned-out on it before it hit the Movie Theater & I remember that when I went to go enjoy the movie I had to sort of shake off all the information I had acquired about it. But, thank God, it was an AWESOME movie!Now, since some time has gone by I'd like to share these TDK Wallpapers that are pretty cool! The 1st one is Heath Ledger, as The JOKER, driving the School Bus right after the Bank Robbery...a great image & awesome background! The next one is sort of a PROMO portrait of Batman, Two-Face, & The Joker. These were done by a Digital Artist named "Messenjah Matt". He took a ton of photographic images from the movie & then digitized them into graphics that made awesome backgrounds.
