New BATMAN ARKHAM CITY T-Shirts at TFAW

While surfing through the TFAW website the other night, to see what brand-new Batman products there are out there, I came across these really cool BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY T-Shirts. Of course they feature graphics from the video game. Three of them focus on the logo or other generic graphic art, while the others all feature Bat-Villains like Harley Quinn & Two-Face. Now, there are no Joker shirts right now, but you know there will be, ha! For more information CLICK HERE!

HEY! It's Desmond, The Littlest Batman Fan!

Alright! Late last night I got a new photo of our little buddy Desmond in my email box. That always makes me happy because he's such a cool kid! He's shown here in some new BATMAN Pajamas he got last Christmas. They have a vintage style to them ( think of the ones your Grandpa wore, ha ) & they're completely covered with Batman Bat-Symbol Logos!! Oh man, I'm totally jealous! Hey Desmond, I don't have any cool sleepwear like this! I might have to come over to your house & steal these, ha! I wanna thank his parents for sending the sweet picture. It's nice to see the little guy again & he's still totally adorable. In fact, maybe even a little bit more!

Vintage BATMAN and JOKER JACKET - Great Graphics!

All the way from Mexico we got an email from a Bat-Blog Fan named Pablo. He wanted to share a few pics of one of his favorite items in his collection. He has this extremely cool Vintage "CHALK LINE" Batman Jacket. From the style of the artwork used I'm guessing it's from the late 1980's. I totally love the image on the back with Batman & Joker in the heat of battle. They are shown in the Silver-Age Comic Book style...what a lot of people call the "Gray & Blue Batman" ( this is one of my favorites ). Thank you Pablo for sending the nice pics, I really appreciate that. This thing is GREAT!

Bloomingdale's BATMAN High-End Fashion Clothing!

Here's a post done for the Bat-Blog Readers out there who make tons of money! We reported awhile back how Bloomingdale's Department Stores are helping DC Comics celebrate their 75th Anniversary by having a few special Superhero T-Shirts. Well, they have expanded that line of products with a few other articles of clothing. Here are some Batman Socks, Bat-Symbol Necktie, & even a Cashmere Scarf with a cool graphic of our favorite Caped Crusader! Now, why did I mention the "lots of money" part? Well, the socks are $30.00, the Tie is $125.00, & the Scarf is $225.00 -- OUCH! But, I gotta admit, that Bat-Scarf is pretty cool!

New BATMAN, ROBIN, & JOKER T-Shirts To Keep An Eye Out For!

I'm always trying to keep up with Batman T-Shirts Designs & when I come across some that I think are pretty cool I like to share them. Here are 3 new ones that I think are very well done. Now the 1st one is my favorite because it's a graphic of what the original 1966 TOPPS BATMAN Bubble Gum Card Package ( Wax Wrapper ) looked like. That real-life piece of Bat-memorabilia has always been very special to me because I really loved these Trading Cards as a very little kid! The next one has more of a "Pop Art" feel about it & I'm actually trying to figure out who's comic book art they used. I'm thinking it might be the artist Dick Giordano but I'm not sure. Either way, it's the "Silver Age" Batman that I have always liked with the blue / gray bat-suit & yellow-oval bat-symbol logo. For the last example I included this one with split-faces of Batman & The Joker. The reason is because it totally reminds me of all the T-Shirts that were produced during the 1989 Batman Movie craze. It just has a nice "Vintage 80's Look" about it. Now remember, I've included a link button down below so you can see other examples of new shirts offered. So, check it out!!

Bloomingdale's DC COMICS 75th Anniversary T-Shirts ( Batman & Joker )

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of DC Comics Bloomingdale's Department Store is selling some cool Batman & Joker themed T-Shirts. The Vintage Style "Japanese Batman" ( in the 1st photo ) is my personal favorite & I really like the one that looks like a cover to an old Golden Age "Detective Comics" Comic Book. The prices range from $39.00 to around $60, OUCH!

THE DARK KNIGHT Batman and Joker ECKO UNLTD. Zip-Up Hoodie with Masks

Some big fashion news right now is that Ecko Unltd. designed some new Batman ( The Dark Knight ), Joker ( Heath Ledger version ), Kiss ( Gene Simmons ), Jason ( Friday The 13th ), Jigsaw ( Saw Movie ) Zip-Up Hoodies with Masks. These just came out & they are truly Limited Edition so if ya want one you should do it quickly. My guess is that the one of The Joker will sell out first because it's the most interesting of the bunch. The deal about these hoodies is that you can have a regular hoodie ( that's open-faced, or you can zip it up all the way & it creates a mask to keep your face warm. Here's some photos of The Joker & Batman Hoodies. Now, I guess I gotta explain that when I went to their website to get the photos for this they only had the one picture of the Batman Hoodie. The day before they had many different pics & then they were down. I think it was a temporary glitch so if you're interesting in seeing what the back looks like then just click HERE!

Vintage Photo: A YOUNG BATMAN IN COSTUME ( With Alfred, The Butler? )

Here's a Vintage Family Photo sent in by our good friend Chip Kidd. Now, this is not "Chip when he was a small child", ha ha! No, it's just a photo that a friend sent to him because it is Batman & then he sent to us. WOW! This photo is extremely beautiful, both in subject matter AND quality! Because of the style of the Batman Superhero Halloween Costume, & the fashion of the clothing worn by Alfred, The Butler ( OK, probably his father or Grandfather, ha ha! ), I would guess it's from the early 1960's. So, the fact that it looks even older is pretty cool. I mean it looks Vintage 40's at least! Maybe it's the fact that it's Black & White or maybe because the architectural details are sort of European-looking. But the costume having the "Yellow Oval Bat-Symbol" on the chest is a dead give-away that's it's at least 1960's. Anyways, thank you to Chip Kidd for sending this wonderful photo, I really appreciate that & know everybody will love this cool pic! Now, If any other Bat-Blog Readers have similar "Batman Halloween Costume" photos then I am inviting them to send them in too!
