Shown here are a few prototype pics of 2 Brand-New BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT Movie Plastic Model Kits that will be released by Moebius Models near the end of September, 2011. They're gonna make a Tumbler Batmobile ( 1:25 Scale ), a Bat-Pod Motorcycle( 1:25 Scale ),and a Set of 3 Figures ( no photos on those yet ). The best picture here is the Bat-Pod, click on it for way more detail. They're gonna retail for around $15 so be sure to look for them later. Also, once we get better pics we will share them here.
Our friend Michael, also known as ""FilmakerMike"on YouTube, just came out with a fresh Video that is really a "Toy Review" on a few brand-new BATMAN Action Figures he just found. The cool bat-toys include: BATMAN LEGACY EDITION 2-PACK ( Prototype Batman & Lt. Jim Gordon ), BATMAN ARKHAM CITY ( Batman & Two-Face ), Walmart's LEGACY EDITION FIGURES ( Batman & The Joker ), plus DC UNIVERSE JOKER & HARLEY, The "Mad Love" Set. DC Direct just announced some brand new BATMAN & JOKER Action Figures you might wanna get later. they're a part of the JUSTICE LEAGUE: HEROES & FOES ( SERIES 1 ). There will also be figures of Wonder Woman & The Flash ( not pictured here ). But, shown here, are the ones of Batman & the Prince of Crime, The Joker! All four figures feature multiple points of articulation and include display bases. Also, Character-appropriate accessories are also included. Batman measures approximately 6 3/4" high. Look for them to go on Sale around April 11th, 2012.
OK, if you're hitting the Comic Book Shop today then you need to keep an eye out for this baby! This is the cover to the "DC Retroactive 1970's BATMAN #1" One-Shot. I love the old DC Comics logo, & speaking of that, I also love the 70's BATMAN logo too ( Click on the above graphic for a larger photo ). You see, these are the comic books I grew-up with & it's just nice to see them again. Of course back then they only cost 25 cents, "Holy Inflation, Batman!" This one-shot issue features both a brand new story and a classic story by Len Wein, originally published in the 1970s. It also features art by Tom Mandrake, John Calnan and Dick Giordano.

Our friend Christopher sent us this awesome photo of the brand-new BATMAN PEZ CANDY Dispenser he found at Toys R Us! Click on it for a larger, more detailed, photo. This is a part of the PEZ : JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA Set which also includes Superman & Green Lantern ( To see those toys just click HERE! ). Here's a cool video a friend sent us a link to. It's a basic presentation by a Mattel Spokeperson of some new IMAGINEXT DC SUPER FRIENDS TOYS coming out this year. These were presented at the last 2011 TOY FAIR. It looks like they're coming out with a brand-new multi-level Bat-Cave and a ton of new Batman Figures! Here, we get to see the Penguin & his Penguin-Sub, Another Batmobile Vehicle, Clayface, & Catwoman with her Cat-Cycle. Man, how many items are they making for this toy line? I'm gonna need 3 more jobs to buy all of this stuff, ha ha!
About 2 months ago, here at the Bat-Blog, we reported about the next new Batman PEZ that would be a part of the DC Comics' JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA Set. Back then we had a "prototype photo" & as it turns out it looks pretty much like the actual item. So, up above are some pictures of the real deal and we also get to see the PEZ Display-Box Header Card. There are three to collect: Superman, Green Lantern, & Batman! If these are not in your stores already they will be soon so please be sure to keep an eye out. I think these are pretty cool!
Here's a wonderful photo sent in by our good friend Batmobilly! He just came across this brand-new Batman Toy while surfing through the retail stores. Well, it looks like Fisher Price is still cranking out more Imaginext Bat-Vehicles for their DC SUPER FRIENDS line. Shown here is the BATBOAT!!
Check out these extremely cool characters in the Second Wave of 6" BATMAN LEGACY Action Figures by Mattel. We got: Golden Age Batman, Batgirl ( Love the black & yellow costume ), Catman, and Bat-Mite. Yes, Bat-Mite!! It's also cool that there's a Catman too, I mean, what an obscure reference! Plus, I'm really loving the vintage look of these brand-new toys... great stuff here! Now, these are not in stores right now but be sure to look for them later. Hey, the Bat-Blog will keep ya updated, ha!
