BATMAN: THE LINE. If you're a big fan of fan-films then be sure to check this out. This was Written, Directed, Edited, & Produced by a young Filmmaker named Henry Tripson. He also plays the part of "The Joker" in this movie. His friend Jason Kimble made all the props & did the Joker's make-up. Jason is also the Actor who plays "Batman". "Robin" was played by Jared Olstad. The movie takes place right after the events in the Batman Comic Books, Issues # 424 and 425. Check it out!!

BATMAN ARKHAM CITY News - Custom XBox 360 Console Case!

Rocksteady & Microsoft have teamed-up to come out with a Custom BATMAN ARKHAM CITY Console Case for the XBox 360. The graphics are the "black and white theme" you have been seeing in the advertising for the new Video Game. One side has Batman, the other, The Joker! There is even an "BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY" Logo on the front. Hey, I think it looks pretty cool!!

We can all use a good laugh every now and then so check these pics out! The 1st one is from a Bat-Blog Fan named Aaron. He lives in Canada & recently found these 2 Pair of Batman & Joker Ankle Socks at a Canadian Flea Market. They really crack me up because they're so cheesy and at the same time, I think they're actually kinda cool.



Next is a picture sent to us by a friend on Facebook. His name is Sven & he recently spotted the Dark Knight reading a newspaper. Hey, Batman likes to keep up on current events!

JUSTICE LEAGUE HEROES & FOES ( SERIES 1 ) - New BATMAN & JOKER Action Figures

DC Direct just announced some brand new BATMAN & JOKER Action Figures you might wanna get later. they're a part of the JUSTICE LEAGUE: HEROES & FOES ( SERIES 1 ). There will also be figures of Wonder Woman & The Flash ( not pictured here ). But, shown here, are the ones of Batman & the Prince of Crime, The Joker! All four figures feature multiple points of articulation and include display bases. Also, Character-appropriate accessories are also included. Batman measures approximately 6 3/4" high. Look for them to go on Sale around April 11th, 2012.

Exclusive 1966 BATMAN MOVIE WALLPAPER - Illustration Art By Christopher Franchi

The Bat-Blog was recently blessed with a preview of a brand-new illustration by famed Graphic Designer Christopher Franchi. He's the Art Director for Metaluna 5 Media, which handles a lot of licensed properties like: KISS, Bettie Page, Alice Cooper, Star Trek, Superman, Spawn, Peanuts, Evil Dead, Betty Boop and the list goes on & on. Here is an EXCLUSIVE & Super-Awesome 1966 BATMAN WALLPAPER Chris created for the BAT-BLOG! Well, he did all the artwork & I put the Bat-Blog Logo on it, ha! Now, of course, this image relates to the 1960's BATMAN MOVIE because it shows Lee Merriwether as Catwoman. Plus, it's got the other Super-Evil Villains: The Joker ( Cesar Romero ), The Penguin ( Burgess Meredith ), The Riddler ( Frank Gorshin ), and the Hero himself, BATMAN ( Adam West )! The artwork is extremely amazing! The illustrations were all done on Cold-Press Art Board with Gouache and Colored Pencil. Then, they were scanned and assembled digitally. I like how each character has their own colored-outline, to make them sort of pop-off the page. There is also that "light ray" effect that's pretty freakin' cool!! ( Thanks Christopher, I know everybody is going to totally love this incredible Bat-Art!! )

Billy's BATMAN LIVE WORLD ARENA TOUR Adventure in the UK

Last week, in the UK, the BATMAN LIVE World Arena Tour had started & ever since then we have got a ton of personal reports. The good news, all the reviews are really positive. I've been keeping up with this show from the beginning & have been kinda skeptical. I mean, they were either going to make this show amazing or it would totally bomb. Luckily, it's a great event, whew! Here are a few photos sent in by our friend Billy, who is lucky enough to live in the UK. He said the show was totally great! Now, at the show he only had a camera phone but he did manage to get a few nice pics.



In the 1st one we get a really good look at the costumes for Batman and Robin, nice. Next, is a scene where a HUGE Joker Hot Air Balloon appears on stage! Then, the last 2 show the giant-sized bat-shaped video screen. I've heard that this is used to great effect for making transitions to other locations. Plus, it gave the show a great visual effect, like seeing tons of Bats flying across Gotham City or the Batmobile driving through the city. Oh yeah, in the last photo you can see a photo of our friend Billy. Yes, photographic proof that he was there, ha!

Here are 2 Cool Wallpaper Backgrounds of THE JOKER that were submitted by some extremely awesome Bat-Blog Fans! the 1st one is a photo taken the other night at the BATMAN LIVE event in the UK. It was shot by our friend Billy. This is a stage prop where a giant-size JOKER HEAD comes out on stage. The Joker's eyeballs, teeth, & tongue are actually real people and they all tumble out at once, it's a pretty cool visual effect! Next is a Tribute to Brian Bolland's BATMAN: THE KILLING JOKE Graphic Novel. This was sent in by a Graphic Artist named Chris Bacon. He took some classic artwork and gave it a whole new look. There will be many more figures, vehicles, & playsets. Yes, we're all gonna need a second or third job to buy all the cool Bat-Stuff in 2011, ha!

It's always interesting to see what people choose to get inked and, as an art form, it's usually pretty cool. So, here we go! here's some great pics sent in to us by a friend named Ryan. As you can see he has had many different characters done. Most of them are in "The Animated Series" TV Cartoon Style. There's The Joker, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Batman, & a few more. Just released in stores right now are some extremely super cool BATMAN SHAKE 'N GO Toy Cars by Fisher-Price! Of course they're a part of the never-ending DC SUPER FRIENDS Toy Line. There's a Brand-New BATMOBILE for Batman, a JOKERMOBILE for Joker, and even a MR. FREEZE CAR too! Our Bat-Reporter Friend, Batmobilly, got some amazing shots the other night while he was shopping. I really like the look of these cars, but the packaging is so beautiful it could make you cry. No, I'm not crying, it's just that some ceiling fan blew some dust in my eye... really.
