Our friend Hannah shared these wonderful pics with me the other night of her friend Paul. He lives in Australia & made this amazing MR FREEZE Costume. Of course it's the "Arnold Schwarzenegger" version from the 1997 BATMAN AND ROBIN Movie. WOW! It lights-up & everything, ha! That's impressive! Great Job Paul & Thanks Hannah. It's so cool to see Batman popular in foreign countries, I love that!
This is just a quick post to share some photos of an extremely cool MR FREEZE Costume that was made by a friend of the Bat-Blog. His name is Paul and we're totally impressed with this awesome suit/props. Of course it's the version of the character from the older TV Cartoon, "Batman, The Animated Series". The likeness is very well done. I totally love the Glass Dome Helmet & Freeze-Gun, ha!
Recently, here at the Bat-Blog.com, we showcased a brand-new trailer for the BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY Video Game that featured Mr. Freeze. It was one of my top favorite videos for this new game. So, to celebrate, here's a beautiful MR. FREEZE SUPER-VILLAIN Desktop Wallpaper to brighten your screen's background! We have other characters available too, just click the button down below. Oh yeah, if you wanna see that cool video then just click HERE!
In this NEW Trailer Video for the BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY Video Game we get to see a promo-clip featuring MR. FREEZE in action, AWESOME!
Check out these cool pics! These photos were sent in by a Bat-Blog Fan named John who loves to create Custom-Made Action Figures of his favorite Batman characters. Just check out the one he made of The Riddler, AWESOME! Then, if you study the other pics, you'll also see Batman, Bane, Robin, Superboy, Kid Flash, The Joker, & Mr. Freeze! I think they are all very well done, good job John & thanks for sharing the pictures. If any other Bat-Blog Readers out there have any fun things to share about our favorite Dark Knight then please do so.
Here's a room that all Batman Fans would love to live in. These pics were sent in to us by a friend over at Facebook. His name is David & he says that this is the room where he does a lot of artwork. You can see his Drawing Table over in the corner. There are some really cool pieces of Batman stuff laying around ( Toys, Statues, Books, etc... ) but, of course, the main focus of the room are the wall murals. There are 2 major themes here: Heroes and Villains. For the "Heroes Wall" we get Batman, Robin, Batgirl, and Nightwing on a rooftop in Gotham City. It's done in the graphic art style of "The Adventures of Batman and Robin" animated series. Then, we get some Villains: Two-Face, Poison Ivy, Catwoman, The Joker, Harley Quinn, Clayface, & Mr. Freeze. They're all hanging out in front of Arkham Asylum! The artwork here is very well done. Overall the room is extremely excellent! A special thanks goes out to David for sharing his personal space. We totally love this room!
Shown here is a beautiful graphic created by our good friend Sean Hartter. It's a fake Vintage Movie Poster / Lobby Card featuring Donald Pleasence as Mr. Freeze! Oh man, he would have been great in that role. I always loved seeing him in movies. He was the perfect character actor, very creepy! I know you guys have seen him, just do a Google Search sometime & you'll say, "Oh yeah, that guy!" It's also funny to note, that in this total fantasy film, Batman would have been played by Burt Reynolds, ha ha ha! I really wish they would have made this movie : ) Thanks to Sean for sharing his fun artwork.
Here's some amazing photos from our good buddy Chunky B. who writes the excellent ECLECTORAMA Blog. His real work involves vending machines & he recently went to a special convention called the IAAPA ( International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions ). It was in Las Vegas and while there he came across this awesome new game based on the "Wack a Mole" Machine concept. It's the Official BATMAN WACKER GAME!! He also grabbed a flyer and scanned it for us ( that's the 1st pic ). As you can see, the premise of the game is to put on some HUGE Batman Gloves & when a Super-Villain pops-up out of a hole, you wack 'em! The villains include: The Joker, Harley Quinn, Mr. Freeze, Riddler, Two-Face, & Catwoman. The game has incredible graphics all over it, from ever angle! In fact, this is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life, ha ha! And that's saying a lot because when I'm not writing the Bat-Blog I spend most of my time at Major Art Museums & Galleries. I wanna thank Chunky B. for sending us the cool pics & thinking about the Bat-Blog, I appreciate that very much. I also want to invite you wonderful readers to check out his blog sometime. It's all about toy collecting & pretty funny. Also, once in awhile, there's some great Batman-related stuff. You can do so by clicking HERE!
WOW! In response to asking people to send in their Halloween Costume photos to the Bat-Blog I got this one from a reader named Nick. Now, Nick is not IN the photo but this is his brother Paul dressed-up as Ra's Al Ghul. Paul's friend Josh is Mr. Freeze, & Josh's Brother Amos is The Joker. The 2 women are Harley Quinn & Poison Ivy but I don't think Nick knows their names. They were at the same convention, I guess. Either way, ALL of these costumes are totally & completely incredible! Thank you Nick for sending in this wonderful picture. Like all the other costume photos sent in recently it really is an inspiration. Please tell your Brother & his friends that all of their outfits are EXTREMELY GREAT!! I would be proud to wear any of these to a Halloween Party, or Comic Book Convention, any day!! I want to extend the same invitation to all Bat-Blog Readers that you can send in your Batman Costume pics, both past or present, to the Bat-Blog today!
