Here's the latest Batman Movie Parody Video from the "Rated Awesome" Comedy team. It's the 1st one I've seen with BANE, ha ha!

The 1st DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman Movie Tattoo - Tom Hardy as BANE

A friend of mine sent me this photo he randomly came across in a Message Board on the Internet. I couldn't believe it, somebody went & got themselves a "BANE" Tattoo! Yes, this image is the "Actor Tom Hardy" version. Now, the artwork is decent & the Tattoo is pretty nice, but what if the movie sucks? I remember a year or two ago when we were covering the last Batman movie pretty hard. The same thing happened then. Before THE DARK KNIGHT movie was released, even while it was still being filmed, a lot of people went out & got JOKER TATTOOS based on publicity photos. I had the same fears then but once the movie came out everything was cool because Heath Ledger gave an amazing performance & the Joker character ( and movie ) was actually great, whew! Let's hope these "Bane Tattoo" people have the same luck.

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Video - Hear The Voice of Actor Tom Hardy as BANE!!

SPOILER ALERT!! Check out this video showing some of the filming for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES at Heinz Field. Here's what the guy making the video said, "After Bane [Tom Hardy] blows up the football field when 86 of the Gotham Rogues [Hines Ward] runs to make a touchdown after the kick off [this is what we were told was going on during filming] he comes out to address and strike fear in Gotham City [us]. The raised part you see is whats suppose to be left of the football field. He comes out and pulls the microphone from the dead? Ref [which is just a dummy] on the ground outside the tunnel where he comes out with his thugs and someone he has prisoner. He also drags out some big crazy device that's supposedly the means of our destruction..."

Question About THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman Movie Teaser Trailer

OK, by now each & everyone of us have seen the brand-new Teaser Trailer for the THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman movie, probably more than once. Here's my question. At the end of the trailer we see an image of Batman being confronted by Bane. We really don't get a very good view of Bane but in the background is some guy who standing off in the distance. Does anybody know who this is & is he a major character? Just curious... Oh yeah, you might have to click on the above photo for a larger, sharper, version.

Here's an extremely cool BANE Batman Villain WALLPAPER to decorate your desktop. Now, I didn't take this photograph so I can brag about how awesome it is, ha ha! This was a photo sent in by a Bat-Blog Fan named Steve. He loves the New BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM Action Figures so much that he took this awesome photo of BANE from the series. The lighting is great and you can really see some of the fine details. Oh man, I want this cool toy! ( Thanks Steve ) Plus, with Bane being a major character in "THE DARK KNIGHT RISES" movie the timing is perfect!

Ryan's CUSTOM BATMAN TOYS - Mighty Muggs Madness!

The Bat-Blog totally digs creativity, in any form, and here's a GREAT example! Here are some photos from a Fan who likes to create Custom Batman Toys. He takes Hasbro MIGHTY MUGGS Figures & repaints them. Now, for Non-Toy-Collector-People out there who don't know, Hasbro has the license to make Marvel Comics Superhero Characters & Mattel does DC Comics. So, since Mighty Muggs are made by Hasbro then they will NEVER do any BATMAN Figures. So, for the people who want them your only choice is to... customize them!

Our Friend Ryan has done an extremely excellent job on his Customs. First up is Robin & he looks great! He has also done Bane, Clayface, Batman, & Azrael. Please check out the photos because they are AWESOME!! The Bane & Clayface are my 2 top favorites, then Robin. Which ones do you like?

Finally! This morning Warner Bros released an official photo of the Actor Tom Hardy dressed as the Super-Villain, BANE!! Of course we're talking about the next Batman movie, THE DARK KNIGHT RISES! Scott McMahon's BATMAN INSPIRED Comic Book Art

Here at the Bat-Blog we recently came across a very interesting website called SCOOT SKETCHES! Basically, it's the personal journal of a Graphic Artist named Scott McMahan who is trying to tell adventure stories with fun and colorful characters inspired by his childhood. The main focus is Batman along with many super-villains like Catwoman, Bane, Joker, etc... Scott's art style is sort of like the stuff you would see in Children's books. It's kind of cartoon-like & simple. Wait, I guess a better word would be "minimal". Another interesting thing to notice is his pastel color palette. Overall it's pretty excellent stuff. THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman Movie News - Anne Hathaway Will Be Catwoman!

OK, it's official, Warner Bros just announced that Actress Anne Hathaway will play the role of Selina Kyle in the next Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises, and we all know that this person is also Catwoman! They also revealed the Villain character that Actor Tom Hardy will be... it's Bane! Oh man, so many people thought he was going to be Dr. Hugo Strange, ha ha! OK, I'm thinking these are pretty good choices and, just like the last movie, I'm going to trust the Director, Christopher Nolan. I mean, when he announced before the last film that Heath Ledger was going to be the Joker I was sort of skeptical, ha!

Xavier's BATMAN ANIMATED SERIES Artwork!!

OK, right now I could not be more proud! Yesterday I received an e-mail from a Bat-Blog Fan named Xavier. He is 9 years old, in the 4th Grade, & really loves to draw comic book characters. He even has a cool website, called "Super Creations", where he shares his artwork. He also really really loves the Bat-Blog! In the letter he sent this picture he recently drew to help promote the Bat-Blog on his website. It's EXTREMELY SUPER-AWESOME!! Please be sure to click on it for a larger, more detailed, version. Original BATMAN COMIC BOOK ART by The UK's Clint Langley.

Here are some photos sent in by our good friend Guenter. He recently went to a comic convention in Essen , Germany called "Comic Action". While there he was able to pick up a few pieces of Batman Original Artwork by the British Comic Book Artist Clint Langley. The 1st one shown here is, of course, BANE the evil super-villain. It's great! The picture also shows the actual artist. Now, the 2nd photo is a piece he did with both Batman & The Joker! As a bonus, because the artwork is so cool, I took the photo & made it a Desktop Wallpaper you can use as a background. Please let me know what you think of it.
