OK, Just to be clear, this is not Anne Hathaway as Catwoman but her stunt double. But regardless the video is still pretty cool because we not only get to see some of the filming of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES in Pittsburgh, but we get a good view of the Costume and the Bat-Pod Motorcycle!
SPOILER ALERT:
Oh yeah, over the last few days the Internet has been going completely goo-goo with photos of the latest Bat-Vehicle, the BATWING! Personally I think it will be more of a Helicopter-Type Vehicle ( They will add the roto-blades during post production ) than a Jet Plane. We'll have to wait and see, ha! In the mean time here's some very excellent videos showing the details of Batman's Brand-New BATWING flyng through Pittsburgh's city streets!
POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT:OK, here are 2 pretty interesting "Dark Knight Rises" videos that have surfaced lately. One shows the Actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt Filming Scene in a snow-covered Gotham City. Basically, he's walking around with a gas can & you can also see the Tumbler Batmobile driving around. In the next video we get to see the Tumbler Batmobile and a HEMTT Military Truck Driving on a Snow Covered Street! WOO HOO! Ok, it's really not that exciting, no action, just moving down the street. but this 2nd vehicle is pretty cool. I mean, it looks EVIL!
Check out this amazing photo taken in Pittsburgh, during the filming of the new Batman movie, by our friend & Bat-Reporter Chris Walker! ( Click on it for a larger pic ). It's a photo of the TUMBLER BATMOBILE ( Camouflage version ) sitting in fake snow. If you study the picture you can see large blocks of "fake snow" in the foreground. Also, you can look at other parts of the street that are not covered with snow. Yes, the magic of Hollywood! ( Thanks Chris, You ROCK, Sir! ) If any other Bat-Blog Fans are in Pittsburgh during the filming of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, and you get some pics or video, please share too!
SPOILER ALERT!! Check out this video showing some of the filming for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES at Heinz Field. Here's what the guy making the video said, "After Bane [Tom Hardy] blows up the football field when 86 of the Gotham Rogues [Hines Ward] runs to make a touchdown after the kick off [this is what we were told was going on during filming] he comes out to address and strike fear in Gotham City [us]. The raised part you see is whats suppose to be left of the football field. He comes out and pulls the microphone from the dead? Ref [which is just a dummy] on the ground outside the tunnel where he comes out with his thugs and someone he has prisoner. He also drags out some big crazy device that's supposedly the means of our destruction..."
OK, be warned, possible SPOILER ALERT! Here's some cool aerial footage from WPXI of the Heinz Field Football Stadium in Pittsburgh being prepped for filming BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. In the movie the Gotham Rogues will face the Rapid City Monuments in a fictional football game in Gotham City!
This is a quick post to share what a lot of people have told me is the 1st official photo of Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle. Hey, it looks like she's stealing the Bat-Pod! Now, I seriously don't think this is the CATWOMAN Costume. It's really just a tease from Warner Bros. Yeah, we'll have to wait a little longer to see the Cat-Suit, ha! For more pics of Anne Hathaway be sure to check out the other post with CATWOMAN WALLPAPERS!
SPOILER ALERT! Here's a video showing another day of filming in Oakland (Near Pittsburgh, PA). In this scene you can see Batman and Bane doing some serious fighting!
Yes! THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman movie is really getting underway! Here's a video showing the "Camouflage Version" of the Tumbler cruising the streets of Pittsburgh! Actually, there are 3 of them. I guess they either have back-up ones or they each perform a different function...cool!
A friend just sent me this great photo taken by Photographer Jared Wickerman showing Actor TOM HARDY as BANE in Full-Costume! ( Click on it for a larger, sharper version ). They're filming THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman movie right now in Pittsburgh & he got this great shot! To check out more cool Photojournalism from Jared, just click HERE!
