The 1st DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman Movie Tattoo - Tom Hardy as BANE

A friend of mine sent me this photo he randomly came across in a Message Board on the Internet. I couldn't believe it, somebody went & got themselves a "BANE" Tattoo! Yes, this image is the "Actor Tom Hardy" version. Now, the artwork is decent & the Tattoo is pretty nice, but what if the movie sucks? I remember a year or two ago when we were covering the last Batman movie pretty hard. The same thing happened then. Before THE DARK KNIGHT movie was released, even while it was still being filmed, a lot of people went out & got JOKER TATTOOS based on publicity photos. I had the same fears then but once the movie came out everything was cool because Heath Ledger gave an amazing performance & the Joker character ( and movie ) was actually great, whew! Let's hope these "Bane Tattoo" people have the same luck.

Please Help With Finding BATMAN ANIMATED SERIES Artwork For Tattoo

I recently got an email from a Bat-Blog Fan who said that he wants to get a Batman Tattoo in the "Animated Series" Art Style ( Awesome! ). He plans on having Batman & another Villain. His 2 choices for the bad guy are either The Riddler or Mr. Freeze. He said that his main problem is trying to find some decent graphics to use. He's done a Google "Image Search" & came up with nothing. I tried too & was surprised by how little there was online. So, this post is to ask Bat-Blog Readers out there if YOU have any decent pics, or ideas where to find them, then please shoot us an email. Now, my idea is for him to hit a Comic Book Store & dig through the back issues. There were a few different titles that had the "animated series" characters. The graphic up above is an example. I think if he dug into a few of these books he could find some comic panels that have awesome graphics.

Check out this really really great BATMAN TATTOO ART that features the Golden Age BATMAN Comic Book Logo! I have always loved this old vintage graphic so seeing it as a tattoo is a lot of fun. Plus, the Artist, Bill at the Tattoo Lounge in Los Angeles ( CA. ), did an amazing job on it. A Bat-Blog Fan named Drew sent us this photo, thanks Drew!

Stu's Amazing ADAM WEST BATMAN Tattoo Art

OK, here at the Bat-Blog we publish a lot of Batman Tattoo Photos because it's a very fun form of ART & I think they're always interesting to see. But this one is very special to us because the guy who got it said he was inspired to get off his couch & go get inked by reading a few posts here at the Bat-Blog...WOW! We're really honored, seriously! Plus I'm glad that the tattoo work turned out so well, ha! The BATMAN TATTOO we're talking about belongs to a guy named Stu. Of course it's the ADAM WEST version from the 1966 TV Series ( Awesome! ). Stu told us it was inked by Tony Evans of Opulent Ink, Wolverhampton ( in the UK ). Well Stu, please tell Tony we think he did an amazing job! The shading is very well done & it gives this Bat-Tat an almost photo-realistic look, very nice! I mean, it really really looks like WEST!!

Simone's Awesome HARLEY QUINN Batman Tattoo!

Check out this photo, recently submitted by a Bat-Blog Fan named Simone, of her extremely cool back tattoo of HARLEY QUINN! Who, of course, we all know as a member of GOTHAM CITY SIRENS & sometimes she's the Joker's girlfriend ( I'm talking about Harley, not Simone, ha ha! ). The art concept is sort of playing around with the old "Comedy & Tragedy" idea. The left image is happy & she's crying in the other one. This seems pretty accurate since Harley Quinn suffers from a major bi-polar personality! But all kidding aside this Batman Tattoo is really really great & I wanna thank Simone for sending it in.

Zachary's BATMAN TATTOO ART - The Animated Series Opening Intro

Here's a very clever BATMAN TATTOO sent in by a Bat-Blog Fan named Zachary. He totally loves BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES & to prove it his tattoo shows 3 frames from the Animation Storyboard for the cartoon's opening intro. WOW! That's very original & actually very very cool! He said he got the image from the BATMAN ANIMATED Book by Paul Dini & Chip Kidd. I love that book. It's a great "behind the scenes" look at the making of the TV Show. It came out a few years ago & is a total fan-favorite among many Batman Collectors ( For more info I posted an Amazon link at the bottom of this post ). I wanna thank Zachary for sending in this wonderful photo & also give him props for getting such a unique bat-tat! Remember Readers, if you know anybody who recently got some ink done then please shoot us a photo. Our e-mail button is always on the top right-hand side of this blog.

James' Special BATMAN and "ROBIN" Tattoo Art

This photo was sent in by our friend James. In the graphic Batman is holding a small "Robin Bird" in his hand. Now, that is sort of ironic. You know, "Batman & Robin". But the story is larger than that. He got this tattoo to celebrate his mother. The "Robin Bird" is sort of a symbol for her because she really loved birds & her name was also "Robin". That's very sweet. I like when tattoos have a lot of meaning to them like that, very cool. I wanna thank James for sharing both his story & cool pic. ( As a side-note, the Tattoo Artist is Steve Lima ).

Cool Photo: Jonathan's New BATMAN TATTOO ART

I thought I'd do a quick post to show everybody this extremely nice photo of some BATMAN TATTOO ART that a friend named Jonathan just recently got! It's a very surreal-type image showing Batman turning into a group of flying bats...cool! The Tattoo Artist did a really great job on it! I wanna thank Jonathan for letting me post this pic. If any other readers out there have cool Batman-related pics to share ( new or old toys, crafts, drawings, etc...) then please be sure to send them in.

BATMAN TATTOO "Some Days You Just Can't Get Rid of a Bomb!" ADAM WEST Movie

OK, this Batman Tattoo has the word "WIN" written all over it! Even if you're not a fan of the art form you gotta give props to how cool this is! A friend to the Bat-Blog emailed this to us the other night & we're not sure if this is his bat-tattoo, or just a cool pic he found. But either way I love the homage to the 1966 Batman TV Movie. It's the scene where Adam West is running around trying to get rid of a bomb. It has the classic phrase underneath the image, "Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb!" ...Awesome! If there are any other readers out there who have had some recent bat-tat work done then please send us some photos, thanks!
