We can all use a good laugh every now and then so check these pics out! The 1st one is from a Bat-Blog Fan named Aaron. He lives in Canada & recently found these 2 Pair of Batman & Joker Ankle Socks at a Canadian Flea Market. They really crack me up because they're so cheesy and at the same time, I think they're actually kinda cool.



Next is a picture sent to us by a friend on Facebook. His name is Sven & he recently spotted the Dark Knight reading a newspaper. Hey, Batman likes to keep up on current events!



Then, here's a pic showing Batman in training. Here he is learning how to dive from an airplane. You know, he is always honing his bat-skills!

POW! Batman-inspired Graphic Art at Target Retail Stores!

A friend of mine over at a Message Board I belong to found these POP ART Wall Hangings the other night at a Target Store. They're in their "Decorating Interior Design" area where they have a bunch of Clocks, Lamps, Framed Pictures & other Home Accessories. They're designed to look a lot like the 1966 Batman TV Show where they had POW! & BANG! appear on the screen. OK, how fun is that?! Now while they are not exactly "Batman merchandise" they are still kind of cool! If anything these would be great for a little kid's bedroom or baby nursery room. Let me know if you get any. Funny Silly Wacky BATMAN HUMOR Photos & Comics!

I'm feeling pretty tired so I thought I would just post a few very funny Batman-related Comic Strips & Humor Photos. They're easy to post & always a lot of fun ( we all need a good laugh every now & then ). Also, many of these were sent in by a few Bat-Blog Readers so I want to thank them...they ROCK! ( My favorite is the one with the cute kid who has chocolate pudding all over his face. He really does look like the Joker from THE DARK KNIGHT movie, ha ha ha! )

Funny Funny Funny BATMAN Humor Photos!

OK, Many Bat-Blog Readers send us great photos all the time & I totally appreciate that. I mean, I've always said that if the Bat-Blog is any good at all then it's because of that reason. Here are some great examples: The 1st pic is a recent submission of a "found photo". The guy who sent it said he can't remember the site he found it on but he thought it was pretty funny & knew we would like it. It's a Batman T-Shirt that is a parody of the Apple iPod Advertising. It shows the Dark Knight listening to music on his iPod & it's attached to his bat-belt...hilarious! The next pic was found by our good friend Bob. It's an actual tourist photo of a "Cambodian Batman Taxi". It's a large Bicycle-Cart that is pulled by a Moped Motorcycle. I think they call these things TUK-TUK. There is actually an entire sub-culture revolving around these very unique vehicles. Do a Web-Search sometime & you'll see a ton of great pics. This one, of the "Batmobile Tuk-Tuk" is extremely inventive & it really looks like it would be pretty fun to zoom around town in. If I were on vacation in Cambodia I would totally go for it! The last photo was e-mailed to me the other night & when I opened it I completely cracked-up, ha ha! It's Batman showing the Joker some of his favorite movies he has appeared in & the Joker has a correct response! Well, hopefully you got a good laugh! Catwoman herself, Hollywood icon, actress, and author Julie Newmar, will join us in person as the Paley Center presents this exclusive preview of Julie Newmar: A Life in Motion, a world premiere photographic exhibition at the David W. Streets Fine Art and Photography Gallery in Beverly Hills, featuring the performer as captured by Bert Stern, John Engstead, and Bernard of Hollywood, among others. At the Paley Center event, Ms. Newmar will introduce a special screening of the Biography special, Julie Newmar: The Cat's Meow, and be on hand for a sneak preview of select imagery from the exhibit in the Paley Center's Bell Family Gallery. Julie Newmar: A Life in Motion, will remain on view at the Paley Center until December 6, while the main exhibit is running concurrently at the David W. Streets Gallery.
