Glenn's CUSTOM BATMAN TOYS With CATWOMAN Dolls and 1967 BATGIRL Model Kit

Check out these amazing Custom Catwoman Dolls, Batgirl Model Kit, & Re-Designed Retro-Style Batman Toys! These were all made and or customized by our friend Glenn, also known as "infadoll". He likes to take old beat-up toys and give them new life. His main focus is Superhero-related characters. Shown here are two versions of Catwoman. The 1st one is Julie Newmar from the 1966 BATMAN TV Series. The fabric for the costume looks great & the necklace is really nice too. Then you have the "Golden Age" version from the 1940's comic books...MEOW!








The 3rd photo shows his talent for adding dioramas to his model kits. Here is a "Yvonne Craig" Batgirl from the 2nd season of TV's BATMAN. Wow, the face looks just like hers! Then, look at the last 2 pics. This is an old Vintage 1960's Palmolive BATMAN SOAKY Bubble Bath Bottle... transformed into ADAM WEST! If you're not familiar with the old toy it was actually extremely simple-looking & basic. In Glenn's version he detailed it quite a bit & made it more authentic to the TV Show, Coolness! Original Yvonne Craig BATGIRL Costume on the Auction Block!

An original production-made complete Batgirl Costume, used by Yvonne Craig in the classic 1966 BATMAN TV Show, will be offered in an online auction soon that will begin on July 30th, 2011. This is the cowl used in the very first episode featuring "Batgirl" and there are many photos of her wearing it. The costume includes: Unitard, Utility Belt, Gloves, Boots and Cape. It will also include paperwork and authentication from Western Costume as well as letters detailing the history of the costume from the original owner. Yvonne Craig examined the costume and told the current owner the story about the cowl. The estimate is between $9,000.00 and $12,000.00 ( I think it should go for more than that, ha! ) For extra information on this item just click HERE!

1966 BATMAN TV Show - Uncle Sam PSA Propaganda P osters

While surfing through the evil eBay the other day I came across a Graphic Artist selling these BATMAN "I Want You" PSA POSTERS ( Public Service Announcement ). Of course they're all a parody of the classic UNCLE SAM Army Enlistment Propaganda Posters from World War II, but they feature characters from the 1966 BATMAN TV Show! I think they look pretty cool! We get to see Batman ( Adam West ), Robin The Boy Wonder ( Burt Ward ), and Batgirl ( Yvonne Craig ). The funny thing is that the Batgirl Poster says, "I want you to return all your books to Gotham City Public Library". You see, in the television series Batgirl was also Barbara Gordon, who was a Librarian in Gotham, ha ha!

BATGIRL SAYS VISIT YOUR LOCAL LIBRARY! Public Service Announcement

I had to post this graphic image because it's kinda-sorta Batman related, I'll explain later, but the main reason is that it was created by a friend of mine named Rob Kelly & I'm kind of proud about it (is that wrong?). Well, anyways. This is a PSA (Public Service Announcement) POSTER featuring Yvonne Craig. The basic message is "Visit Your Local Library". Of course we all know and love her as the Actress who played Barbara Gordon in the 1960's BATMAN TV series. On that show her character, besides being Batgirl, was also a Librarian. So that does add a little irony to the concept, ha! Now I totally love Libraries more than anything. I visit them at least 3 or 4 times a month, checking out a large amount of books each time. In fact, a lot of Librarians actually know me by name, ha! So I am completely behind this message, "Visit Your Local Library"! On Wednesday, every week, the Bat-Blog Website posts 2 Free BATMAN Backgrounds. We call it "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday!" We always try to go with some theme or idea & BATGIRL seemed like a good subject. So, here we go! The 1st image is a close-up shot of a Batgirl Action Figure. It's from when she was in the Animated Series TV Cartoon. I know the image is kinda strange, but please try it as a desktop background, it's actually sort of fun! Now, speaking of TV. Bat-Blog's BATMAN & BATGIRL Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday!

Whoops! I almost forgot that today is Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday, ha ha! So, here are 2 FREE BATMAN Desktop Backgrounds I'm sure your gonna love. The 1st one is a blast from the past! It's Yvonne Craig as Batgirl on her famous Bat-Cycle from the 1966 TV Series. That show was awesome & so was she. The next one is way more "modern day" since it's the cover art for a very recent Batman title. The Comic Book Artist here is Andy Kubert & this is his version of the Dark Knight. The New BATGIRL Comic Book Cover Has a Secret!

While looking at a current issue of the new DC Comics BATGIRL #4 Comic Book I noticed a phrase in a word bubble spoken by a bad guy that sort of haunted me. I mean, I have heard that phrase before...then I suddenly remembered! Just listen to the music video down below for a clue, ha ha! I think it's kinda cool that they did an homage to 1966 Batman TV Show's Yvonne Craig!!

1966 BATMAN TV Show Actors To Be at Wizard World Comic Con in April, 2010

OK, I thought I would post this early so people could have enough time to save money or make plans. Batman Fans are in for a rare treat next April in California! Wizard World's "Anaheim Comic Con" will have 4 actors from the 1966 Batman TV Show. Be prepared to meet Adam West, Burt Ward, Yvonne Craig, & Julie Newmar! Of course we all know them as Batman, Robin The Boy Wonder, Batgirl, & Catwoman!! Now, Ward & Craig have come out of retirement to do this show so it might be your last chance to meet them both.
