Airbrush Art - Batman THE DARK KNIGHT Custom Truck

OK, I know "The Dark Knight" movie is sort of old news, ha ha! But here's an extremely awesome TDK Custom Truck I came across on the web the other night. It's a totally airbrushed Batman Semi-Truck by an Artist named Glenn Andersen who lives in Norway. The entire surface of the truck is painted & it's all very very impressive! It features Batman & The Joker as seen in the film. This truck is crazy-cool!! In fact, it's almost too pretty to drive! For more photos of this vehicle & more of Glenn's other artwork, click HERE!

THE JOKER - Custom Truck Paint Job

Here's a random photo I found on the Internet where the main function of the pic was to dramatize the use of car wax! In fact, this photo was taken right after a fresh coat of NXT Tech Wax was applied. Yeah, the photo was about selling Meguiar's Auto Wax products, ha! But for us Batman Fans this pic is all about THE JOKER!! Oh man, this paint job is just completely amazing! Of course the Joker's face looks great, but I really love the "black toxic smoke" effect too.

Homemade Batmobile - John's 1997 Cougar Batman Car!

OK, ya gotta love it when people customize their car into a Batmobile...it's wacky! Here are some fun photos from a guy I met online named John. He did some custom work on a 1997 Cougar & made it into the Ultimate Bat-Car! As you can see from the very 1st photo chicks totally dig the ride. Yes, there is a car in that photo (look to the right). Now in the next pic you can see the custom upholstery with the Bat-Logo on the seats. I like that everything inside is black & grey. Plus,I totally love that futuristic steering wheel, very cool! The next 2 shots show the outside of the car. You can really see the custom paint job with the Bat-Symbol on the sides & the hood. I guess it's important to say that they were shot while on a road trip up & down Route 66. Some pics were shot at the Texas border & the other one was in the mountains. I wanna thank john for allowing us to show off his cool Bat-Car & also invite all other Bat-Blog Readers who have made some Custom Batman stuff to send your pics in too.

Leon's ADAM WEST BATMAN COSTUME DISPLAY Gets a Beautiful Wall Mural!

Hey Bat-Fans, Remember awhile back we posted a few shots of a cool manikin our friend Leon got to display his Custom Adam West Batman Costume? Well, it looks like he extended that project & decided to paint a giant-size Wall Mural has a backdrop! Oh man, it's really cool & they did a great job on it. Basically they used a scene from the animated opening credits of the Classic 1966 TV Series. It's the graphics of Gotham City with the Bat-Signal in the sky. How cool is that!! Here's a few "before, during, & after" shots. Just check out the pics showing it completed, it's great!! Now, Leon has an even cooler Bat-Cave! This is something I wish I had the space for ( Yes, I'm Jealous! Thanks to Leon & Family for sending the fun pics )

Johnny Romeo's BATMAN POP ART Acrylic & Oil Paintings

I just discovered a Pop Artist in Australia who, right now, is totally inspired by Batman & other comic book imagery. His name is Johnny Romeo. He's mainly a painter but also makes prints & books. Judging his artwork you can easily see that he is inspired by both Jean Michel Basquiat & Andy Warhol. But I do have to admit that he's a great colorist. Plus these paintings do look pretty cool! If you're interested in seeing more of his artwork you can do so by clicking HERE! There you will find information to his current art openings in & around Australia. Also, down below is the promo video for his current United Galleries Art Show with the "BATMAN LANE SERIES" Paintings.

ART: PABLO PICASSO Inspired BATMAN & JOKER Parody Paintings

OK, I hope I don't need to explain who Pablo Picasso is, ha ha! But he was an artist who helped define Modern Art & one of his most popular styles was cubism. Well, the designers at WONDER BROS recently created many Superhero Paintings in the Picasso-Style & they're totally AWESOME! In fact, the name of the Gallery is "Artwork So Awesome It will Melt Your Face Off", ha ha! Now because the Bat-Blog is all Batman-related I only posted the ones of Batman & The Joker but if you visit their website you can see ones of Spiderman, Wolverine, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Silver Surfer, Superman, Green Lantern, Captain America, & many many more! They are all extremely funny & very well-executed...To see them all, just click HERE!

Andy Warhol BATMAN 60's LOGO PAINTING Art Exhibit Poster

Everybody who knows me personally knows that I am a total Andy Warhol Fan. So when my friend Jeffery sent me this pic of a cool poster with "Warhol AND Batman" I was pretty happy, ha ha. This is an extremely RARE Art Gallery Poster for an exhibit of Warhol's artwork in Torino, Italy. The event happened in 1989 & the actual graphic is a large painting that the Artist did in the 1960's. I love that they chose his "Batman Logo" painting for this. It was an early piece where he was still trying to be a little bit like an Abstract Expressionist. It's a famous piece of art that you really don't get to see very often. Awesome! Thanks Jeffery!

COOL BATMAN Comic Book Art WALLPAPER BACKGROUNDS

The focus of this week's "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday" is going to be some totally amazing Batman artwork! The 1st background uses some vintage 1960's comic art from an Italian BATMAN Comic Book Reprint. I'm not quite sure who the original artist was ( Is it Carmine Infantino's work? ) but it's just really great! The next one is a lot more modern-looking. This is a detail of a painting done by Joe Jusko for a charity auction at the San Diego Comic Con in 2007. The art is just amazing & has a highly realistic feel about it, very cool! Plus, the FULL MOON backdrop is a really nice touch. Now remember, we post 2 FREE Batman Background every week so if you have a suggestion for a certain character then please drop us a message. Our e-mail button is always on the top right-hand side of this page ( it looks like an envelope ), Thanks!
