BATMAN INFLATABLE BOUNCE HOUSE Spotted in Australia!

While surfing the Internet the other night I came across this very cool BATMAN INFLATABLE BOUNCE HOUSE that would be perfect for any party! The thing that made it interesting to me is that the company renting it is located in Australia. Ha! I totally love that! I really like how the Dark Knight is popular all over the world. So, if you're a Bat-Blog Fan who lives outside the USA, then I'm asking you to please keep me updated on Bat-News from your part of the world. My email button is always on the top right-hand side of this page, thanks!

Arturo's Wonderful JOKER Costume & Make-Up Photos

One of the greatest things I love about doing the Bat-Blog is getting to meet Batman Fans from all over the world. Here are some photos sent-in by a friend named Arturo. He lives in Mexico & wanted us to see his JOKER costume he made for a party. It looks like everybody had a fun time! The costume is very well done & the funny thing is that he had a mustache ( which he didn't shave off ) & he covered it with white make-up in honor of Cesar Romero, the Actor who played the Joker in TV's 1966 BATMAN! Now, how cool is that?! Whoops, I guess I should explain that, back in the 1960's, Romero refused to shave his trademark mustache & left it on to become the Joker. They just covered it with white make-up & it's always been sort of an unusual piece of Bat-History. Thank you for sending the wonderful photos Arturo!

BAT-SQUAD 2009: Batman, Catwoman, & Batgirl!

Here are some awesome pics from last Halloween sent in by a Bat-Blog Fan named BatDave, The Drunk Knight ( who lives in New Jersey ). He wrote,
I was fortunate enough to talk my girlfriend Lisa and her stunning pal Delia into being my own personal Batgirl and Catwoman for a huge Halloween party in Woodbridge, NJ. I realize that our costumes are an amalgam of various Bat-phases, but the crowd went wild when we entered the nite club. Especially when my 2 ladies broke into a mock cat fight!! We won a $200 second prize and had an incredible night of super heroic fun!!
( Jealous ) Hey Dave, I think you guys should have got 1st Place. That contest must have surely been rigged! Lisa & Delia both look totally awesome & their costumes are great! Yours is not too shabby either. It looks like you Party Animals had a lot of fun & that's very cool. Thanks for sending the wonderful pics, they're great!

Last Halloween my girlfriend & her best friend went around town to a few clubs & parties. They were dressed as very sexy "Vampire Babes"! Outside, at one bar, they saw these people all dressed-up & they knew they had to get some pics for the Bat-Blog. All of their bat-costumes were pretty cool. Shown here, we have a very Hot Batgirl & a totally Crazy Joker! He looks like he just broke out of Arkham Asylum, ha ha! Thank you to Kandye & Ducki for getting these very cool photos!

Jennifer's Custom-Made HARLEY QUINN Costume Dress & POISON IVY Outfit

Long time readers of the Bat-Blog know all about our good friend Jennifer & her crazy art-craft projects, ha ha! She always make incredible stuff so when I recently got an e-mail from her I knew it would be something awesome...and it was! It looks like she has been kinda busy lately! Recently she designed these 2 new Batman-themed outfits for Halloween. One is a Harley Quinn Party Dress that is totally amazing & could also be a good costume. The 2nd one is a Poison Ivy costume. She explains everything better than I do so here's what she wrote:
"The first is a dress inspired by Harley Quinn. Clearly it's not meant to be an exact replica of her costume, but more like something she might wear to a party. :) The whole costume is velvet and has several little 'clown' style accents to it. I also made the little matching hat and gloves and found a great necklace to finish the look. :D

The second costume is Poison Ivy. I used a vintage sequin dress and totally rebuilt it to be more like Ivy's tunic. I hand painted a ton of Ivy leaves with green glitter and sewed them to the edges of the dress. I also made the ivy eye mask, and hand dyed gloves to finish the look."
WOW! Jennifer, you totally outdid yourself this time! Both items are really wonderful, seriously. I especially like the Harley Quinn Dress because it's so unique & original. But the Poison Ivy Costume is great too!! I like how the leaves are sort of realistic-looking, a nice touch. Thanks for keeping us updated & sending the great photos. Readers, you might check out ETSY sometime because she sells stuff like this there. Also, If there are any other Bat-Blog Readers who do creative things then please let us know. It can be painting, drawing, costumes, tattoo art, whatever!
